Creme Brulee has always been one of my favorite desserts, but this was my first time making it at home. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to make and how delicious it tasted homemade! The recipe I used was from Anthony Bourdain’s Les Halles Cookbook. You can find it online here.
Pistachio and Creme Brulee Macaroons
This past Friday night I had dream that I owned a bakery where all I made were French macaroons! When I woke I wanted macaroons so bad! Luckily a few of my classes were canceled this week so I knew I would have time to bake lots of them! I made these yesterday, they are pistachio with a creme brulee filling. Most of them are already gone and since I don’t have class till tomorrow I’m thinking of making more today :)
